3D printing, scanning and modelling in Kelowna
Formed2fit turns ideas and physical objects into finished parts. We scan what exists, model what doesn't, and print it all in-house, from fine-detail resin to large-format prints up to 500 mm. We make prototypes, replacement parts, art and small production runs for engineers, manufacturers, artists and makers.

WHAT WE DO
3D services under one roof
Start with a file, a sketch, a physical object or a broken part. We take it the rest of the way.
3D printing
Large-format FDM up to 500 mm and high-detail resin, in PLA, PetG, TPU, wood-fill, ASA and resin.
Part duplication
Broken or discontinued part? We can it, rebuild it and print a tough replacement, even from the pieces.
3D scanning
Blue-laser scanning up to 0.02mm accuracy, delivered as a mesh or an editable CAD model.
Manufacturing partner
Your behind-the-scenes 3D manufacturing department: low-volume runs, jigs and fixtures, and white-label parts.
3D modelling
From napkin sketch to paint-ready or manufacture-ready model: custom design, reverse engineering and prototypes.
3D printing
Large-format FDM up to 500 mm and high-detail resin, in PLA, PetG, TPU, wood-fill, ASA and resin.

OUR PROCESS
Scan, model, print
Use one step or all three. Already have a file? Skip straight to printing.
Scan
We capture the object digitally with our CR-Scan Raptor blue-laser scanner, from a 5 mm clip to a 2 m panel.
Model
We turn the scan, a sketch or a drawing into a clean, watertight model that’s ready to print, or an editable CAD file that’s ready for manufacture.
We print it with the material and technology best suited to the job: large-format FDM for size and strength, resin for fine detail.

Scan data accurate to as fine as 0.02mm means replacement parts and copies that actually fit.
Expert file preparation
We clean, repair and prepare your files so they print right the first time.

OUR SCANNER
High-precision 3D scanning with the CR-Scan Raptor
Reverse engineering, prototyping and digital archiving all start with a good scan. Our Creality CR-Scan Raptor is a hybrid handheld scanner. It uses a blue laser for fine detail and infrared light for large objects, so every part gets captured the right way.
7 parallel blue laser lines for sharp detail
Up to 0.02mm accuracy in blue-laser mode, and up to 0.1mm in infrared mode
Up to 60 frames per second for quick, smooth handheld scanning
Objects from 5 mm to 2 mm
Many black and metal parts scan without spray. Mirror-chrome and clear parts may still need a light coat.
24-bit full-colour capture for visuals, archiving and AR/VR
